Soaking Up Rays On ebay now?!? - tanTALK

I just had a customer that packed in 3 bottles of SOAKIN UP THE RAYS Tanning Lotion, she told me she bought it off ebay and wondered if it was any good. She even pulled up other auctions of SUTR on EBAY? Diversion just never stops does it? In slow season it hurts us salon owners even more. Anyone else seeing more trends of diverters during slow season?

We do our best to fight all types of diversion. On rare cases, I have seen Soakin' Up The Rays ® listed on e-bay sites but it seems to to individuals not an organized effort by a business.

I just got done searching E-bay, I found not listing of any Soakin' Up The Rays ®. I did find 878 for tanning lotions.

To back Greg I did a search and nothing there for Soakin' Up The Rays ®! But ebay is really out of the manufactures hands as this could be salon owners! What we need to look at here is the internet sites, and where they are getting there lotion, as this is our real Problem!

This seller says she has 4 different kinds of SUR. I support ya greg, i was just wanting to make ya aware. Also I was asking the question, if this happens more during the slow season or does it just seem that tan/lotion(bottles of lotion/per tanning customer / day) equation is wrongly telling me this.
I know you are trying to fight diversion. I believe just as much, if not more tanning goo is sold on ebay than anywhere's else. If you do a search you find 850 bottles of lotion a week, is alot of lotion that is sold!

Ok, Anyone see anything wrong with those products?

White bottles with a Copper Rays (TM) label that was the wrong way on the bottle. The label is not the one sold on white bottles. The white bottles were lizard logo items. Sun logos only went on black bottles. I matached label background colors and priting to the color of bottle. Very strange.

I just got a email from Cal Tan~ There diversion fight includes "various ebay retailers" interesting! Way to go CAL Tan!

We are agressively going to work this issue with this seller. I have been successful in the past with forcing other sellers to take my products off E-bay.
