I havent tried tingle before. Does this actually mke the tan deeper making it darker ...or what exactly? Does the redness fade...and your left with tan? lol I dont know much about it,but I want to try a tingle. also, can it be used on the whole body? I've been reading about tingle on this forum, and iamtan...so,I know not to go witha strong one right away lol. oh,and how often can i use a tingle? thanks!

There are a couple of ing. that make the tingle work. Look for Benzil nicotate and methal nicotate (sp?). They cause the blood to come to the surface of the skin which speeds up the whole process. (think Icy Hot) If you use an intro tingle test it on your legs as they are not nearly as sensitive. Don't use it on your face. Real blotchy. The reddening will fade in about an hour. Also don't use it unless you have some color. The results will be better.

The idea behind tingle is more oxygen ... which will lead to a deeper, darker tan. The redness does fade (about 20 minutes or so). From my experience I am left with a better looking tan (I dont particulary care for tingles and do not use them often, but love the golden glow I get from them). You can use it on your entire body, never on the face. (And be sure you apply your facial lotion prior to applying the tingle, also be sure not to rub your eyes when you get out).

I suggest for a starter try California Tan's Ginger Spice it is a very low tingle, has a good smell and great results.

Keep in mind that tingle lotions have various heat factors and one company's level 5 is another's 10! Sensitivity from person to person varies widely also; redness could last anywhere from 20 - 30 minutes to 3 - 4 hours, if you are affected at all. I've had many clients refuse to try tingle again due to a bad experience in the past, and others that went from the mildest to the hottest in a matter of weeks.

Supre's Hempz Hot, Colour Hot, and Kava Kava's Taboo are more reddening than tingle, I would suggest trying one of these first.
