1st off, im glad i found this place,
thanks for letting none salon owners post!!!

my siguation is, my old g/f got me hooked on tanning, well i tan every spring like a sant, but boy, my new g/f is blinding white.
she says she has really never had a tan, but once, so i have got here going, she has been so far 9 times and is slow developing a hint of color,

i have suggested a lotion with a bronzer in it,,, but what do you all sugg.

the tanning salon i go to are all collage girls with really no knowledge and only recommend stuff the owner is letting them use like 32 oz whorship and stuff, everything they recommend....they state well its pretty good or this is selling good but no real help, although there is one girl there thought talked me into getting some x-power today for my self,

i thought for my g/f lotions to try
whorship
hot chacolete
double dip by ag
beach bum rum

what would give best results for her,,
or should i just put here on x speed

ok for my self my arms are very hard to tan, and my face seems to always have a red tint to it i just cant get that macthing color with body/face

from this board i have ordered total illusion based on its high praise

so should i go for caltans illuminate to fix my face problem???

Work on your spelling while your girlfriend samples different lotions. What works for you or me, may not for her. Does she have oily skin, dry skin...???

OK it's 4:30 am so I may make some spelling errors here lol. May I suggest a lotion that seems to do well among tanners that start of with light skin color... JA Melaplus is great it builds a base tan and acts as a moisturizer as well. Maybe Tara can give you more input on this lotion. I myself had a couple of tanners use it recently and got wonderful results.

If your girlfriend is blinding white and only slowly developing color, I would be very careful with bronzers. She could streak really easily until she gets more base. I agree with MelaPlus, or Babie, or Designer Skin Drama Queen. Let your salon owner know that you are disappointed in the lotion knowledge of the staff. It is not hard to learn a few key facts about each lotion. Surely college girls could do it.
