Rep Power: 0 | Wow, $5 or $6 for cups. We use cups to help promote a new or slow moving product and for products that dont have packettes, but we sell them for $2 incl. sales tax. Seems to help clients be able to check out different products. |

Rep Power: 23 | I have read elsewhere that some salon owners think carrying sample cups is trashy looking... What do the rest of you salon owners think of this...like I stated before I carry some sample cups..not alot, but I never thought of them looking bad... Christina |

Rep Power: 25 | We didn't carry any samples for awhile and I think that adding them has increased our overall lotion sales. some people will pay $6 for a sample each and every time while others will purchase a more expensive bottle after having sampled it. |

Christina It is just a matter of opinion Christina. Packettes are more attractive, but cups do sell. I guess it depends on the salon owner. huh? |

Rep Power: 22 | I think it depends on your presentation also... It also depends on how well you sell the cups..If they sit around and become oily & crusty and you try to continue selling them..then well..you hit "trashy".. but if they are something you sell well and maintain well then ok. We only sell a few lotions in the cups..We do have sample bottles for customers just interested in trying before they buy but we also have a lot of waitress' that live day to day (always buy fee packages and always purchase packettes only and we cannot continue to give them samples so the cups work here) |
