Angel Pumps - tanTALK

My customers love the Angel Moisturizer by DS. However, we have had many complaints about the pumps not working. Just curious to see if anybody else has been receiving these same complaints? Total Immersion had the same problem last year when it came out.

I met Brad today in Atlanta at the TW symposium. He actually mentioned how the thickness of the lotion is what is causing that. He said you have two choices sacrafice the quality (which he refuses to do), or pump it about 10 times to get it started. Once it is started it will keep going!

My pump didn't work either.... I tried and tried and tried to no avail. The product is amazing though. I wound up just taking out the pump and squeezing the lotion into my hand. I love super-thick moisturizers and Angel's scent is heavenly. I would like to see them change the packaging rather than the lotion--a squeeze bottle or jar would be a good way to fix the problem without altering the formulation of the product.

I agree totally with that idea of changing the bottle type that is a very good idea. I don't think it is just the bottle of Angel. I think all of Designer Skin's pumps are not very good. They are really great lotion but we have had no luck with their pumps. We have angel, Worship and Goddess in the 32 oz bottles so they have the pumps in them and all doesn't pump great.

I haven't had any complaints about the Angel lotion pumps but I cannot get any of the pumps sent out with the 32 oz. bottles to work. I don't care if you pump it 10 times or 1000 times. I've went through three of them now! It just doesn't work!!!

Went to Sally Beauty Supply to buy another pump. It worked for a while and now it doesn't work either!!! I don't care how thick it is. My private label through Soakin is very, very thick and the pumps that come with his 64 oz. bottles work perfectly. It is VERY aggravating when you offer a client a free sample of a product and then you have f@*#k around with it forever trying to get it out of the bottle.

Of course, you might know, I threw away the lid when I put the pumps in otherwise I would just shake it out.

I love this product as well, found I had to pump it a good bit the first time, but no problems since.Our customers are loving it, too! We can't keep it on the shelves!

Love this moisturizer ..my skin feels so soft and silky after I use it..also no greasy feeling!

Selling a lot & customers are loving this too,.. experiencing the same pump problem, as well as the "Worship" & Goddess" bottles being so hard, it is difficult to get lotion out @ 1/2 way point unless we store them upside down. When you squeeze bottle, it stays squeezed?!?
