Rep Power: 0 | Find a new salon. It's quite possible this poster is MORE cautious than the salon staff. Regardless of 10 min or 20 min beds, a newbie should never be in it for MORE than the skin can take safely. Newbie, if you are tanning 8 mins once a week, you are only getting 'light therapy'. Warm, relaxed for a few mins. If you want to get actual color / a tan -- you need to schedule your sessions seriously for the first week or so to get the melanin stimulated. If your salon cannot take the time to discuss this with you, 86 em and find a new one. It may cost more for a quality salon - but well worth it. KJ |

Rep Power: 20 | Agreed - find a new salon. Also, you might check out IamTan . It's the sister-site to Tantalk and is geared toward tanners, and they have a lotion review section that will help you determine which bronzers are darker than others. |
