Rep Power: 23 | I could not get any sachets of this lotion from my local distributor as they were back ordered so I ordered a couple of bottles and made up some cups to sell. They were gone within 2 days. At $90 a bottle however, I don't think I will be selling many bottles. I know, I know, I am always complaining about price BUT have sympathy, the Canadian prices on some of these lotions is outrageous and I hate to charge customers them! Oh well....they are buying so I will be pleased at that and take up my beef with lotion manufacturers! Stacey |

Rep Power: 23 | Well with the exhange, it makes our pirces basically the same. For example our price for a certain lotion being $55.00 us converts to $ 80.00 canadian. So if we used u.s funds to buy the $80.oo lotion in canada it would cost us $55.00 So it really isnt any difference. |

Rep Power: 23 | I see what you mean Key and I know this is off topic here but if I for instance have to work 15 hours to make $90 (minimum wager), I am still spending $90 to buy this bottle. I don't think to myself that well, this is really only $45 US dollars. I know in reality we are paying the same, it's our dollar that makes it bad BUT many people are not buying the expensive lotions because of this....it's just too much. Not the manufacturer's fault, or distributors BUT if they could cut Canadian buyers some slack somewhere then we would sell so much more of this expensive stuff. I sell a lot of $45 - $65 dollar stuff but not much over that price. Just a thought....a long winded one I think. Stacey |

Rep Power: 23 | KW, perhaps the honeymoon is over with the Bombshell . Customers tend to go for the new stuff at first, then interest wanes. I think you'll still want to keep a few in stock for the diehards or those that hit a plateau. I continue to return to it, love it, gives awesome results! We sell Bombshell for $48 per 8.5 oz (I think) bottle. That averages out to less than $3 per 1/2 oz application. Bargain for what you get. |

Rep Power: 23 | Bombshell has died for us too, as have most of the DS products. We have a competitor selling them for $5 over cost, I hate when these desparate salons devalue their products just to make a sale. It makes legitamate salons look like they are ripping people off. When I go to the mall to buy a pair of Nike's, I don't see Foot Locker selling them for $70 and Joe's discount shoes selling the same (not last years style) ones for $20. Jeez, what's WRONG with these idiots!! Right now our best sellers are still JA Chocolait Fram, SB Amaretto, and Cal Tans Dark Deluxe, and Max for the Newbies. It's a shame that people don't sell for the suggested retail on products, and even tanning sessions. I guess it's time to try some Glimra!! |
