My sister just bought a bottle of Australian Golds new Flash Fire. I never really use tingle products, and I don't really like them that much also. When I saw the new bottle, I just couldn't resist to try it. First things first~it smells EXACTLY LIKE HOT SALSA..Secondly, I am never going to violate my skin like that again! LoL....I just put a light layer on my arms, and in two minutes, I felt like my arms were sitting in an open fire....more like I stuck my arms into ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!My skin was RED, HOT to the touch, and really itchy...
Why do people love this, I know that they say that it feels more natural, but I NEVER FEEL like THAT when I am laying in the sun!

just wanted to tell this to everyone

hasta la vista~

I get many customers that had a bad experience with a tingle lotion because they started with the wrong one. Some people are more sensitive to them than others. Personally, I love them but my daughter is more sensitive and has to use the milder ones until she builds up a tolerance.

I noticed in your profile that you anticipate working in a salon soon, please do as much reading as possible on the various lotions (among other things), you will be glad you did later. There is some really good info on this board; read, learn, post. Welcome to Tantalk.

I also don't understand the appeal of a tingle lotion. I get much darker when I concentrate on moisturizing and hydrating my skin instead of subjecting it to weird chemicals... such as nicotine!!!

I sure hope this experience with the tingle lotion hasn't deterred you from tanning. There are so many other products out there that have no tingle in them that will help you get very brown.

This is the only skin I'll have. No one has proven the long term effect putting a tingle product will have. What will a "tingle tanner" look like at 90 years old vs a tanner like myself that doesn't bastardize my skin unnecessarily.

I realize tingle is popular... so what? You can have it!! I'll stick with Ambrosia Dark Deluxe or my Ultimate Results... I seem to out-tan every tingle addict I know. So there! (giggle, snort, guffaw)

I am not familiar with AG or SB products because I don't carry either one nor will I anytime soon (do a search on lotion diversion). As a beginner I would start on a simple reddener (no tingle) like Kava Kava's Taboo. From there you would move to a light tingle such as SHO 1000 by Most. After 1000, you could try Most's 3000 or 6000 or dabble in other brands. I tried one by Sunshooters today, Captain's something, and it was very mild to me. Always do a test patch on your inner forearm to see how sensitive you are. My daughter does this and can tell in minutes how it will affect her.

For those sniffers, snorters, and guffawers (did I just make a new word?) out there HP2000 makes a wonderful Tan Maximizer. As a tingle addict, I saw more color from this lotion than any other tingle-less lotion I've ever tried.

Teez,
I carry AG, & SB. which ones do you have to offer? Maybe then I could give you some ideas on which ones.

I have tried just about everything, and I am fond on the SHO line! LOVE the 6000 Gold. Also, I like the DS Exotica.

In the tingle products I carry AG Wild, Scream, Dark Fire, and Golden Tingling Glaze. In SB I have Zinger, Black Diamond and Sinful.
Thanks for the help.
