LA Express and LA Tan - tanTALK

Anyone ever heard of LA Express Sunstitute and LA Tan Sunstitute? I found bottles of lotion by these companies (both have the same phone number on their bottles) in KMart last night. They all say for indoor tanning use only. And "Sold in Professional Salons." When did Super K become a professional salon?You can bet they will be hearing from me on Monday morning. Anyone else interested, the number is 800-232-4518.

I have banned the use of these products in my salon. I have put a bottle of them up at the front desk and noted on it that it is prohibited from use in my beds

Sold in professional salons my BUTT!!! They lie. They are sold in Wal Mart and Kmart! Junk crap lotion not allowed in my place

We have signs up in the front lobby as well as a sign in every room about these and other lotions. We do not allow them to be used. Professional salons! Maybe this is the beginning of Wal-Mart's tanning salon venture???

Just got off the phone with Jenny, at LA Express. Their lotion used to be sold in professional salons. They are in the process of making new labels. Apparently, no salons would carry their @#!?. Jenny seemed very offended that I would call and ask why the label said professional salons only, but I found the bottle in KMart. Go figure. I think I'm not the only one who has called about this.

Pardon me. I'm moving a little slow today. Doesn't LA Express make hair gel?? EEWWWW! I can just imagine the consistency of their lotions. Nasty.

I just bet that they are making new labels...Har. This stuff has been around my town for several years, at hair supply houses, and walmart. Thank you, thank you very much. Anyone else I can scream at today? That was kind of fun.Note to Jenny at LA Express: I'm sorry if I offended you, but you offended myself, my salon and the tanning industry by selling your product to KMart and labeling it as being sold in professional salons. I will not allow your product in my salon and if I continue to see your bottles labeled the way they are, I will continue to call and remind you about the problem. Jenny, honey, think of me as your personal gnat. I will not go away until the problem is fixed.

I would call the BBB that label is false and misleading labeling and advertising.I would call the stores that carry this and tell them you put in a complaint to the BBB as well.Great eye..... give them **** !
