Jeff:We started selling our own PL lotion 5 years ago and it has been one of the reasons for our steadily increasing profitability.We mark our PL lotions up by 4 to 6 times and pay double the commission on our own line.In a typical month, we sell 60% PL and 40% branded products (where we make a little over 2 times our cost.The "blended" PBIT is 3.5 to 4 times cost.We tried several PL lines that were available 5 years ago and went with Soakin Up The Rays. Every year we look at the new PL companies and have found no reason to change. The products are excellent, the prices fair and Greg's word is as good as gold.Don

Not only did I talk to you on the phone, but I also e-mailed you to thank you for the samples... buy some memory, it's on sale at Circuit City this week. Bronzer Star, I do remember sending you samples, what did you think? After a long very busy season, I could use some new memory and a new hard drive as well but a few days off could fix both the problems without a trip to the store.My post was directed at JeffinKC. I am not sure if he requested samples of my Private Label or not?

No Greg I did not call you earlier this year I did however get samples from you almost 3 years ago. Their were several reasons I decided not to use your company. I do believe every salon needs private label and I think for some you are an excellent chioce. I also believe you do your best as a small company to help out the salons you work with. I have never had anything bad to say about your company or you as I don't like to bash anyone here (except ETS of course).
