Your best selling lotion is whatever you want it to be. Your customers will buy what you and your staff recomends. Most people have never heard of any of the lotions. none of them do mainstream advertising to increase product awareness. So why do salon owners insist on supporting these companies. Thier are many private label programs. The margins are much higher and you will no longer need to worry about diversion. I still carry some JA and Tan Inc but after this season it will be all private label. I will still special order any product for any customer but unless they ask I'll sell em my product and make more money. You should too

Thier are many different ways you can go and many different companies you can work with.Breeze Soakin Up The RaysCustom HBCZeke LotionsBiddiscombe Labrotoriesand the company I use Body ChemistryYou should be able to get samples from all of the companies mentioned. The problem you will have is getting the labels designed and printed. Some companies will work with you and some ask you find a local company. I like Body Chemistry because they do it all for me, the product is excellent and I get to pick the scents, and it is very reasonably priced. If you have anymore questions or need phone numbers let me know.

What is Private Labeling? Is very simply having a brand of tanning product with your salon name or another name/logo you have created to sellin your tanning salon. Why Private Labeling works: Because the first question tanners ask about tanning lotions is:"What tanning product should I use?" That means despite the millions of dollars in advertising spent by productsmanufacturers, they have FAILED TO REACH THE TANNER! You are the one completing the sale. You deserve to make more than 100% for doing their job. Instead, how about recommending a product you tested to ensure it meets the needs of your tanners? How about commending a product that you are making 200%, 300% ormore markup! That's a great way to increase your personal income and make sure your tanners are happy. Because your tanners will buy what you recommend:Your customers trust your judgment as a tanning professional to select the right product for them. Why not recommend a product you like so much you put your name on it? Soakin' Up The Rays, Inc. manufacturers premium quality products you will have confidence in that work in your salon because you have tried them yourself. Offer them the perfect combination, premium quality products that have your own PERSONALIZED LOGO at the same or less than they would pay for the "major brands" overpriced products.Because you make less selling the major brand names: Why are you recommending a product to your customers, that you are struggling to markup 100%? As the "major brands" more and more can be found in beauty supply shops, beauty salons, retail stores and other non-tanningshops (these stores do not mark them up 100% in most cases), tanning salon owners are forced to reduce their markup cutting personal take home pay.If you have your own products that are better or the same as the "major brands", then you can make a greater percentage of markup and increase your take home pay.Because new products sell:Salon owners are always asking me, WHAT IS NEW? Tanning salon owners want the latest formulas and best products to get results for their tanners. The lack of brand loyalty among salon owners means you have theopportunity to present your products to interested customers, including possibly other tanning salon owners.Call for samples and information about our private label program. ------------------Greg KlesiusSoakin' Up The Rays, Inc.1-800-935-7625WWW.Soakinuptherays.comAwarded the First TSO Seal of ApprovalWWW.naatso.org
