Rep Power: 0 | I have a situation that I need help with. I have a customer who purchased a lotion after purchasing a sample packet. Now the individual has come back to me a week later and informed me that he is not happy with the lotion - he has used it at least two times. Do you allow returns? If so, what do you do with a used bottle of lotion? You obviously can't re-sell it.Please advise.Shelly |

Rep Power: 0 | We have a 14 day refund policy on all lotion. If the bottle purchased is over half gone I explain that we cannot refund. After using a lotion a couples of time the customer should know if they like it or not. I let employees use the returned bottle after it has been turned in to our corporate office. I the distribute it out accordingly. I have had clients buy a bottle and use it, want to trade it in, and then do so again. I offer the option once but not again. They could pay for one lotion and go all through peak doing this if we allowed it. Hope this helps. ------------------Carin WalkerSandollar Tanning Resorts |

Rep Power: 0 | CarinDo you ever give them money back or do they choose another product? What happens if the original bottle was more than the second bottle? How many people do you find return lotions? Also, I do not have a corporate office that would be able to use the open bottle. I am the only employee right now, so a 1/2 used bottle will go to waste - I can only tan so much!Any thoughts? |

Rep Power: 24 | Fred, I am with you!I don't know about the state you live in, but lots of states have health codes about things like that. You don't know what that person may have done to that bottle and you don't really want to sell it to someone else. There are some strange, sick folks out there (the same ones that pee in the garbage cans in tanning salons)...so...We do not refund lotions, period. That is why we really encourage people to buy the packet first. |

Rep Power: 24 | Maybe if they are real insistent, 1 exchange. But watch out. Sometimes this becomes a cycle. The'll bring the new bottle back to a differant employee after a few uses and exchange it again, then again. Protect yourself from being scamed this way. Or don't allow returns at all, as the others say. |

Rep Power: 0 | Yes we do give money back. If they have paid by check we make sure the check has cleared. If by credit card we apply a credit back on their card. If there is a difference in price we either give them the difference or charge them the difference, whichever way it goes. If the bottle is half empty sample it to clients that you know are interested in the product or one similar. Hope this helps.------------------Carin WalkerSandollar Tanning Resorts |

Rep Power: 0 | I hate it when this happens. What are these people thinking? Why do they think we have samples? NO REFUNDS ALL SALES ARE FINAL!!!!AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! The stress of owning your own business. On your problem though you could if you wanted to, take the bottle back and put it in cups. You deduct the lotion they used from the money you give back, and you resell the rest in cups. You look good to the customer, and you don’t loose any money. ------------------Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!! |
