Rep Power: 0 | Does anyone have a problem with clients wanting you to hold a lotion for them to buy the next time they come in? I have several clients that tell me they want a particular product but, may not have any cash on them or forgot their checkbook, or for whatever reason, they will ask if we will hold it until they come in again. They always say, Oh, I'll get that when I come in tommorow. Well, it seems like tommorow never comes. Then, I get another client wanting that same bottle, only I promised so and so I would hold that for them. Do you go ahead and sell to the person in front of you, who actually has money, or do you hold it for the one who may or may not come back for it? I've had it go both ways. Just wondering what someone else would do in the same situation?------------------Lisa Holder |

Rep Power: 24 | It goes on a case by case basis at our place. We will hold lotion, but, if it has been there longer that 24 hours and someone else wants to buy it, I will sell it. I will then order more so I will have it on hand. There are some people that only tan every 5-6 days, so their 'next time' could be next week. After a while, you get to know the people that just like to 'hold' things but not 'buy' things! |

Rep Power: 24 | I hold lotions for 24 hours and I let the customers know this up front. I also tell them if they are not gonna make it back within 24 hours to just give us a call if they want us to hold it another day. This reduces the "tomorrow never comes" thing. |
