Some salons like to provide a gentle bronze tan (High UVA), while others like a fast, more immediate tan (High UVB). Demographics play a part in what salons offer also, if your salon is in a heavy Irish area, then low to moderate UVB & high UVA is usually more desirable. If say you are in the middle of Greek town you may want a more moderate to high UVB lamp for that skin type. Equipment requirements can also dictate what is used or not due to FDA compliance issues.
