Rep Power: 0 | Wolff Bellarium... I have a Klafsun Saturn 24 lamp bed...I have had it for a few years, and I need to replace the bulbs. I bought it from a salon that went out of business, and this was my favorite bed at the time. The manufacturer recommends "Wolff Bellarium SA1-10-11 w lamps", but what it has in it now are "Ray of Suns", which I have heard here they are the cheapest and work only 400 hrs. I am wanting advice on lamps that are long lasting, provide an even and deep tan, and that will last a long time. Also, are reflector lamps recommended? I have heard they can "stripe"? My bottom acrylic is very scratched, I bought it that way...could that be part of the problem? Thank you |

Rep Power: 16 | Re: Wolff Bellarium... wolf beds system is a reflecting system. it bounces light off mirrors on the bottom/top. If you use reflector lamps you will get striped. They have to output a 360 degree area to be useful. That's why there is separation between lamps and not grouped together. You can buy any velocity bulbs for these beds which are higher in UVB and do pink you up at first, or you can buy a lower UVB/bronzing lamp to just be brown, but they are a little more expensive. You can search cosmedico goldarium lamps by cosmedico and they would do you well. Around 800 hours go here hxxp://www.tanninglamps4less.com/ligsourmidsu2.html .. you need a VHO lamp Not a VHOR...R stands for reflecting Last edited by gringo1; 11-16-2010 at 12:07 PM. |

Rep Power: 16 | Re: Wolff Bellarium... lol...i certainly am not a lamp expert.. just trying to help. **** im still waiting for opinions on what people think the best tanning facials out there. If i read it right shes looking for velocity plus/extremes for this bed. A 100 watt wolf system lamp. correct? But also looking for something that bronzes better like a 9k90 (which obviously wouldn't work due to the reflector) But something like this according to the site would work wouldn't it? Designed to be compatible with the Wolff Bellarium Plus (cosmolux goldarium sp) Descriprtion--->. Good all around 20 minute lamp, with better than average bronzing capability I would have directed her to you but I figure one bed of lamps is probably not enough for someone who deals in volume eh? g Last edited by gringo1; 11-16-2010 at 01:58 PM. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Wolff Bellarium... The bottom line is_________________it's a 24 lamp 100w bed so there is not much you can do with it. Buy a good quality 100w lamp and that is about as good as it gets in that unit. Wolff Velocity or Velocity plus New Technology SN or Extreme LSI Midday Sun or Beach Sun |
