Rep Power: 17 | lightsource smart lamps pink/blue vs 9k90 Who knows which will work better for me? I have 200w 9k90's in my heartland 2m 9 minute max which i thought were great. just got my new 252 radius with auvl extreme vxr plus 200 watt ( which lightsource claims have 6.0 uvb ) and i am running the machine at only 9 minute max as well. my customers are waiting in line for the new 252. so now i need to change my lamps in the 2m but need stronger lamps then the 9k90's but do not want as high uvb as the auvl's. distributer is wanting me to go with the pink and blues from lightsource. never heard of them. any suggestions? |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: lightsource smart lamps pink/blue vs 9k90 Who told you the AUVL's were 6%? They are about 4%. Go with New Technology HP's or Sig Series HP's if you want high UVA.They have about the same amount of UVA as the 9K90's but with a little more punch to them. If you want more of a kick try the Sig Series plus. |

Rep Power: 17 | Re: lightsource smart lamps pink/blue vs 9k90 AUVL themselves told me its 6.0 and the 9k90's are about 2.0 im hoping for somewhere in between. robert i asked a distributer here ( u.s lighting ) about sig series plus hp's and he said they are the exact same thing as 9k90's and no more uvb's and have no extra kick whatsoever. i cant even get 2 distributers who distribute the LSI's to agree on what they have so how am i supposed to order? |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: lightsource smart lamps pink/blue vs 9k90 The average person selling lamps does not know squat! AUVL VXR plus is 4% 9K90 is less than 2% Sig Series HP's is 2.4% Having said that do not get too hung up on the %. The 9K90 is not a good 9 minute lamp. If you want to stay with a high UVA go with the New Technology HP's or Sig Series HP. I would recommend the Sig Series plus. |
