Re: Light Source

We have the new Signature Series² lamps now available. They are very different from other 160W lamps on the market. They are not a "new era" type lamp so they won't meter super high on 5.0 meter. We have been getting reports of readings from 50-65 depending on the unit. The lamp has a nice balance of UVA & UVB, the unique part is that it has 2 peaks in the UVA spectrum. This positions most of the lamps energy in the IPD range of the spectrum. (IPD = Immediate Pigment Darkening). So you get immediate color without the red. You will also see some delayed color after your session. It's almost like 2 lamps in one, you get a longer last bronzing result.

This is also one of the first lead free phosphors on the market. Europe is switching to all lead free in the near future.

Re: Light Source

A better signature series? How is that possible?

The Ipd has always been excellent in all LSI lamps.

Uh huh. I'LL be the judge of that.

Please send two test cases to me, and I will report back.

Thanks for your urgent attention to this matter!

Re: Light Source

^^^No, they will still contain mercury. Lamps will not work without mercury to vaporize.
