Do these lamps pass the TLCP test for hazardous waste?
No, just like Brian said they have Mercury in them as all tanning lamps do.
Many municipalities will require that all flourescent lamps be recycled regardless if they have green end caps or not. Others could care less. We recommend that all tanning lamps be recycled.

Read this link below to understand TCLP a bit better.

We have been getting reports of readings from 50-65 depending on the unit. The lamp has a nice balance of UVA & UVB, the unique part is that it has 2 peaks in the UVA spectrum. This positions most of the lamps energy in the IPD range of the spectrum. (IPD = Immediate Pigment Darkening). So you get immediate color without the red. You will also see some delayed color after your session. It's almost like 2 lamps in one, you get a longer last bronzing result.

This is also one of the first lead free phosphors on the market. Europe is switching to all lead free in the near future.
Thanks for the input, do they last as long? How higher is price?

Insert Brian's crack pipe here.

We average less than 1 out of every thousand sold that are ever returned as a no light or early burn out.

I have the same problem with any lamps I use. Do you suppose it's because I drive them at 240-245 volts delta? lol

The depreciation was actually about 10% better than the standard Signature Series. They are priced similar to our Signature Series HP line.

They are currently available in FR71 100-120W, FR71 160-200W & FR79 180-230W 2M.

You must either have Tan America beds or you were sold the wrong lamp for your application.

Re: Light Source

I ordered up a set of the new Sig Series2 from John last week, they came in this morning (Thanks John). I'm gonna lamp up my Dr Muller Icon with them. Will post meter readings and customer feedback along the way.
