However you can't just assume that 1/2 the max session time in each unit would = 4 Meds. You could take a Solarmeter 7.0 meter to each bed and get your max session time then cut it in 1/2. So they could maybe go 6 minutes in a VHOR bed & then maybe 8 minutes in a HP bed to get 4 meds. Would be a ton of work to make sure you are not giving someone too much!

Simply splitting the times in half between two different beds and splitting their max session times in half may actually overexpose you as the output ramps up as the bed heats up and then decreases as it continues to run. Just putting this out there a little clearer for those reading along and thinking that they can simply split the times or mix match. Last edited by Brian Oshman; 01-06-2010 at 09:45 PM. | ||

Rep Power: 23 | Re: Just wondering different lamps John and Brian are correct... not even a 7.0 meter can be precise enough for determining two partial sessions in two different beds. You would need a $45K Optronics spectralradiometer. Even then it would be tricky as the lamps age. Interesting idea... but don't go there. Your insurance company and the FDA would frown upon you... particularily if and when something went wrong. |
