Maybe you're not running the right voltage? I think you can find discount tanning lamps online if you just search hard enough, but the owner (like you said) probably wasn't truthful so you might just have to replace them when you can.

It doesn't take 3 visits to get tan. It takes 30days of on/off tanning.
