Rep Power: 0 | Bermuda Gold lamps I got Bermuda Gold lamps for my Wolf 30 minute beds and Bermuda Gold lamps for my Sundash 15 minute Hi intesity beds. Some say 105 wat F73-T12-HI-RDC and the others say 105 wat R/S Preheat RDC. Which bulbs go into the 30 min bed and which go in the 15 min hi intensity bed?? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Bermuda Gold lamps Yup, heat has nothing to do with tanning. You cannot feel UV. What you feel is infrared. A bed that feels hot is either poorly cooled or the place doesn't have enough A/C. If a bed is running hot it will kill the lamps quicker and the output will be lower than the same bed that is running cool and properly cooled. The lamp output goes down when lamp temperature increases. Optimum lamp wall temp. (not room or bed temp but the actual lamp glass) is 108ºF. The lounge will generally run about 82º to 85ºF when everything is right. Optimum room ambient temp. is 72º to 74ºF max. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Bermuda Gold lamps Right... what I mean is, wouldnt the bulbs that are meant to be in the 15 minute bed but are accidently in the 30 minute bed give you darker results since you are doing it for 30 minutes? The bulbs should be stronger not weaker... than the Preheat R/S? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Bermuda Gold lamps The lamps would be burning you at a double session. Also, 15 minute lamps are typically reflector type and you would see a whiter portion on the back side of the lamp. If they are not reflector then they are either real high B which is just fry baby to make the session real short or they are not 15 minute lamps or they just suck. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Bermuda Gold lamps Yeah, I am going to switch them out but when I found out I had Hi intesity bulbs in my 30 minute bed I freaked out cuz I was worried about frying everyone that went in there but then realized no one got fried (thank god) and have had a couple ppl say they get better color in the other 30 min bed with the Preheat R/S bulbs that now has almost 200 hours on it... So it makes me think that these HI-RDC bulbs suck... What should I do? Is there a better bulb to use? |
