Rep Power: 0 | NEED HELP!!!!!!! I have a bed that I recently changed out all the bulbs on and I have 1 bulb that will not work. I have changed the ballast, the starter, and the bulb. It still will not come on. I am in Fayetteville NC and refuse to pay someone 35.00 both ways, plus 65.00 an hour (which is what 1 person quoted me coming from Greensboro, NC). Could someone give me some options or know of someone closer that doesn't charge so much $$$$? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: NEED HELP!!!!!!! Let's see, that's 100 miles each way which is at least 40 bucks in fuel and 4 hours on the road which is half a day so what's left is 30/4 is $7.50 an hour which actually covers time on the road, tolls, insurance, wear and tear, advertising, phone, etc...then $65 an hour which is cheap to fix something that will take an hour to fix. I can't believe that you think that is too much to ask. Service people in this industry are specialized and need to charge a certain amount to cover all expenses and sustain enough of an income to stay in business to be able to be available to the industry when needed. Don't be so cheap. |
