Parts and service for UWE equipment...
 

I was looking into purchasing some UWE used equipment. I heard some warning regarding UWE going bankrupt which means that it will be impossible to get any parts in the future in case I need to replace any parts... Is this information current ?!

I have not heard that but it wouldn't surprise me as I don't know anyone who's buying
new beds.

I was considering buying some used UWE like the silver bullet or the IBed but I am a little concern if this equipment will have issue in the future and it will be hard to get parts.
Most of my equipment is Ergoline and I don't have a lot of experience with UWE

Even though Ergoline has gone through a lot of changes, they are still a very good company.
Tech's always return calls, parts are stocked. Service is available in California. Can't say
the same on UWE. I had a main board go out on a Silver Bullet years ago and I think it was
$1,000 to replace. I stopped buying there stuff.

UWE is out of business but KBL is now producing a few of the models. Parts are generally available from PC Tan although the lead time and price is not great.
