Heartland/Tan America 5400 question

I've had my new 5400 since February 2013 and the struts that hold the canopy are losing strength. Anyone know what it takes to have the struts replaced or is there something I can do to fix the issue?

I think the 5400 has springs that you can adjust. No struts.Remove the front cover and look under the bed on either side of the ballast trays.

Don't tighten to much all needed is couple of full turn, then check canopy.

Re: Heartland/Tan America 5400 question

I have a 5400 that keeps losing power (basically resetting itself) every few sessions. Have reworked all the electrical and it all looks good. I cannot figure out what the trouble is. Any ideas??

Re: Heartland/Tan America 5400 question

Solar...had the same issue with the resetting. This is the unit we had that caught fire. There is an issue with the wire bundle being scraped against a metal lip on the back of the top canopy. Opening and closing the unit scrapes the wires bare. Their tech told us in Nashville they have seen this in a few 5400 units already. We opened the second unit and sure enough it had started on the wires too.
