Rep Power: 0 | Sunstar 332 makes a noise when it first turns on I've been a salon owner since July 2013 so I'm new to this business. For some reason my Sunstar 332 started making a noise. Right after the facial bulbs turn on there is a loud noise for a few seconds. Hard to describe the noise but it sounds awful. A couple months ago customers said the facial bulbs were shutting off one at a time near the end of their session. A repair man came and said nothing was wrong with it and it never had issues again now something is making noise. I don't want to have him come back because he charges a lot for mileage. Anyone ever have this problem? |

Regarding the noise, is it a mechanical noise (like something getting hit by a fan) or is it an electrical noise (like popping and buzzing)? Is the noise actually coming from the area near the facials or is it coming from some other area of the bed? |

It's probably either the cooling fans are not running causing too much heat buildup or the thermostats need replacing. I've never had a problem with the fans, usually replacing the thermostats solved the problem. If the lamps are igniting, then your lamps and sockets are probably okay. I'm saying "probably" because I'm not a technician, just an unpaid maintenance man for my wife's salon. |
