Bed dosent shut off

I have a Ultrasun Sunburst 4000. When the T max timer ends the facial bulbs shut off but the bed lamps stay on for 3 or 4 mins after before shutting off...

Anyone know why? I assume its a timer issue but wanted to see if anyone had this problem before..

Thanks

Stuck contactor. Happens all the time on Ultrasun units. Call Jeff at Heartland and order a new one.

Yes it is a 2" x 3" x 4"h. This is where the main power goes into. I cannot remember whether the main power feed ties into a terminal block and then the contactor or directly into the contactor. Looks kind of like this:

Re: Bed dosent shut off

Thanks Robert.. I looked up online and figured out what it was and checked it out while running the bed..One contactor wasnt popping off on time.. I figured before replacing with my spare id would hold the button down and use compressed air and blow out the inside then i added just a small amount of lubricant. I figured the contactors move and they are 10 years old or so. It worked like a charm . Now both contactors shut off within a few seconds of each other..Ill see how long this last and if it doesnt ill just replace it with my spare.. Thanks for the help..

Too funny...but it worked! I personally wouldn't lubricate electrical parts. But glad you were able to figure it out.
