KBL has been offering those features for over 6 years. The only new thing on the bed is the card system.

They went up even higher in price? That's just nuts!

This bed out tans the KBL 6800A and 7800A by a mile. Not even close.

This bed is the same price as a 6800A and cheaper then a 7800A. FYI the 6800A only has 40 lamps and this bed has 52 x 200w. The total UV output is dramatically higher on the Prestige.

I have tanned many times in the 1100, 6800 and Ibed. The tan from bed to bed is too close for anyone to tell any difference.

Ergo has been quoting much higher prices the last 3 years for the 1100.

Robert, ya spose a bed like this would give my salon the "wow" factor, and bring in a little more business? I really haven't brought in anything new since 2009, so maybe changing things up a little, might be just what I need. I don't even know who my ditsy is in my area, thinking Chicago. Maybe a used 6800 would do the trick.

We have put the Blueberry (1100) right next to a 6800A in a salon. Both beds were brand new and installed within a few weeks of each other. The Blueberry won hands down. In fact the owner order 6 more Ergo units after the test. Now for the good part he traded in iBeds. The iBed is not a great tanner. The lamps are too far away from the body.

We also metered the 6800A and the Blueberry when they were new then at 100 hours and again at 200 hours. The Blueberry was almost exactly 50% higher on each reading. The 6800A is a 40 lamp 160w unit VS the 52 200w lamps of the Blueberry. Simply put the total UV output on the Blueberry / 1100 is much greater. Now add in the new IPT system on the 1400 and forget about it!
