ETS SS 755 and velocity 918

I am moving a SS 755 and velocity 918 and need a manual to help me with disassembly and reassembly and working on the beds. Any one out there have access to one.
Thks for looking and even more thanks for helping.

There is no assembly/disassembly instructions on these units. I would recommend hiring a tech that has been trained on these units or have installed these before. You will cause yourself grief trying move these units yourself, if you don't know what you are doing.

Re: ETS SS 755 and velocity 918

To get the legs off the 755, you have to find screws you will never find and would never expect. If you get frustrated and just try to "muscle" it instead, you will break the legs and maybe have to look at buying replacement legs - if they still sell them.

The lid is also unwieldy. And the top acrylic is easy to torque out of position and damage.

Hire a TRAINED tech who has SPECIFICALLY worked on these units before! And/or make sure you get them to commit - if they BREAK the unit - they will pay to repair.

Re: ETS SS 755 and velocity 918

I have never moved anything like this. I have worked on both and moved lots of beds. Most have been fairly small but have moved several ultrasun jetpower sized beds and one heartland acclaim. I moved a ergo 600 once that was above my skill level and would not move another 600 without help from a qualified tec. Thanks

A 755 makes an Ergo 600 look like a walk in the park.....

Re: ETS SS 755 and velocity 918

I am almost 100% sure I am passing on the 755. I bought the velocity. I have taken apart a heartland acclaim. It would not be harder than the Acclaim should it?

Re: ETS SS 755 and velocity 918

The 918 is really not that bad compared to the acclaim. But you still need to know what you are doing.... I think the 755 is much easier that an ergoline 600, but again if you don't know what you are doing, it will be quite a task. I have know Idea what Sunsally is referring too. The 755 is solid and uses standard hardware. I have installed a lot of them..
