Rep Power: 0 | Help. Flood ruined tanning bed. It's a 28 bulb Heartland Ovation tanning bed. We had major water and when my wife walked in the bed was running - all the bulbs were on. She shut the breaker off right away, but as I suspected, after we got everything dried out the bed doesn't work. When I flip the breaker on I get nothing. I don't see any sort of fuses anywhere so I'm guessing the circuit board shorted out. Its a "TMX004 Power Board" Here's the tray all the ballasts/electronics sit in, there was probably 2-3 inches of water in there Anyway, I'm pretty capable of troubleshooting electrical but don't have much experience with circuit boards. Can anyone point me to a repair shop or possibly somewhere to get a replacement? Thanks! |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Help. Flood ruined tanning bed. Ok guys. I feel pretty dumb for skipping this step, but I didn't even check for power. I assumed since I turned the breaker back on the bed would have power. But, somewhere during all this the 240v plug backed out ever so slightly, but enough that it wasn't making connection. I still have a problem though. Once I figured that out, I turned the bed on and everything worked for about 5 seconds and then the cooling fans shut off. I killed power and tried again, but they are not coming on. All the bulbs come on and lights on the board are working, but the fans in the tray are not. I pressed the contactor in and out a few times but that didn't help. Is the circuit board still most likely the culprit? |
