Used Bed Values?

Hi All... I am new here and looking at acquiring an exisiting salon. Can anyone recommend the best websites so that I can try to put a pricetag on the beds that they currently have? I've been trying to do as much homework as possible. I also have been reading a ton on this forum- you guys really seem to know what you're talking about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The bed info (so far) is as follows (I know some are missing exact model info & their condition also would play a factor):
UWE iBed
UWE Cayenne
Solarforce 652v standup
starpower 548
sunvision 28LE
Sunvision Elite 30
Orbit 44/4
Solarix X2
& Celebrity airbrush

They currently have them at "4 levels" - how would you level each of these?

Thanks again for your time!

The 28 does not even belong in the salon. The 30 maby $300........ Search the for sale forum. Beds are not worth a whole lot right now. To many used on the market.

Re: Used Bed Values?

Depends on whether you are looking at private party, refurbished retail, etc

Our cayenne cost 1225 dollars minus a side acrylic and ballast which was 210 dollars total. I have seen them selling for upwards of 10k though

the solar force standup is a model down from the Sunscape 756v i bought for 2000 add 65 for keypad. These i see for 5-10k as well

Those are some extreme examples but basically if making an offer, unless they have a strong customer base or the beds are flawless i would only allow fire sale prices when factoring in equipment value because this is what you would be able to get in a reasonable time frame in the event that god forbid, things don't work out. Market price isnt really an effective factor because a lot of times ive seen good deals here that are still on there 6 months later until someone happens to need that exact unit. If business was bad, can you afford to lay out money for a tech to come remove the equipment and pay for storage waiting for a buyer and dealing with a ton of a holes that lowball you?

I have been watching a sungate that is in nice shape that a guy has been trying to sell for 3k now for several months. The same bed would be probably 6-9k used from a lot of dealers so the fact that for 3k it has been on the market so long should speak volumes

10 cents on the dollar is a good rule of thumb.
people buying have to factor relamping, repairing
shipping and installing if they dont have the means.

Thanks! I have a list of their years & hours. They're in an existing salon that I'm thinking about purchasing.
