Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Hi All Im in a process of buying a new standup Sun Capsule Eclipse 250 (250w per lamp). Now The standup is totally redesigned with ambian lights and other add ons. Now I was originally ordering the frosted Acylic over the lamps instead of the basic cage, but now the sales person is telling me that the arcylic will block some UV light and the customer would have to tan extra 1 min to get the same results (8 minutes instead of 7). So I decided to get the cage, but now having second thoughts and I'm thinking of changing my order and have the aryclic instead of the cages. Acrylic looks so much better and think its work that extra 1 minute. Whats your take? Does anyone have the new Eclipse Suncapsule? below pix is with acrylic ![]() |

Also, the unit is not properly designed for acrylics. If you get it get the cages. Sure, the acrylics look nicer but the unit runs better with the cages. They just break and warp. Especially the door. The handle is bolted to the acrylic and the customers will keep breaking it as they will push the handle and it will continue on through the acrylic. I would stick with the 220w or less. 220w is also 7 min. and the lamps will at least last three hundred hours. |

I already paid for the custom graphics work on the 250 so it's pretty much a done deal, besides I have a 220, 200, and 160 standups in my salon so I wanted to try something new and more powerful with an attached dressing room. The 220 and 200 units do incrediable in my store so I needed to add one more. Robert, if not too happy with the cosmo lamps they supply I will for sure try yours in the future. Thank you D |
