Rep Power: 0 | Best Way to Figure Value of Used Beds I have the opportunity to buy a group of beds from a shop that is closing and am trying to find out if the price being asked for each bed is accurate, as I bought all of mine new at a tradeshow when I first opened my shop. Recommendations as to good sites to go to? Here is the list of beds, etc. - with the price being asked for the bed. She does not know how many hours and I haven't gone to check. But they all require new bulbs immediatley. If you know anything, please post. I greatly appreciate it! 1. Solaris 442 (2008) -- $5,000.00 2. Sundome 548 (2006) -- $3,500.00 3. Sunvision 30-3F (2008) -- $4,000.00 4. Starpower 548 (2007) -- $8,500.00 5. Sunvision 28LE - 2F (2005) -- $2,500.00 6. Sunvision 30 (2008) -- $3,000.00 7. (2 of these units) Sunsource 6000VSS (2006) -- $4,000.00 (each) 8. Norvell Spray Sytem with Overspray Booth (2007) --$1,500.00 9. Hydration Station (2006) -- $9,165.00 |

Rep Power: 14 | Re: Best Way to Figure Value of Used Beds My Take: 1. Solaris 442 (2008) -- $5,000.00---------$3800 2. Sundome 548 (2006) -- $3,500.00-------$1800 3. Sunvision 30-3F (2008) -- $4,000.00-----$900-1100 4. Starpower 548 (2007) -- $8,500.00-------$5200 5. Sunvision 28LE - 2F (2005) -- $2,500.00----$750-900 6. Sunvision 30 (2008) -- $3,000.00------------$750-900 7. (2 of these units) Sunsource 6000VSS (2006) -- $4,000.00 (each)-------$1400 each 8. Norvell Spray Sytem with Overspray Booth (2007) --$1,500.00...$1100 9. Hydration Station (2006) -- $9,165.00 ...(unk) The Sunvision's are, IMO, useless in todays salon. To compete, a 'base' bed should be a min of 34-36+ lamps...no salon could expect much $$$ with 30 lampers...better used/sold as home units The Sundome...ugly unit. There is a 2007 StarShip/52 lamper on Craigslist/Atlanta for $3200, I know they will take $2500 The Norvell..again on Craigslist, a 5yr old Mystic for $3500 To replace LAMPS (not 'bulbs') average $15-$22, per lamp for each bed (top of line of lamps for results that impress..not cheap $12 lamps)...Very Costly..almost more than value in the Sunvision case...certainly not worth it.. The Hydration..I know what it is, not popular as a tanning add on..useless, IMO, for a tanning enviroment. Money space in salon could be put to better use ( a HP). This is my opinion, some will disagree..but I feel fair in my assestments |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Best Way to Figure Value of Used Beds These are very nice reliable units. I have been to auctions where these have sold very cheap though. There are too many used beds on the market. These are all work horses though. The 28's are more of a home unit. I would not spend more than $4000 for the lot. You could probaly get it cheaper. I am guessing that they just want closure. |
