we are looking into getting our first stand up and would like thoughts on the soltron pineapple park or big apple vs tan america sundazzler 220 or sundazzler 160. thanks for any opinions/help

Forget both of those, and pick up a good used Sun Capsule. No need to but new, because so many good used units occupy the for sale sections. The proof is in the fact that Sun Capsule is rated one of the best standups to be had and the results speak for themselves.

Ditto what Parrot Head suggest.

Check Criagslist..many salons for sale/selling equipment.

There is a new Suncapsule under 'Atlanta' (where I am for $2500). I am sure you coud get anything offered, for less. Folks are desparate to sell off equip., since salons are not selling.

Added note: The Sundazzler is NOT Tan America, but rather Heartland Tan. When Heartland took over TA, the TA name was merely placed on all stand-ups.

We have a couple great Suncapsules with under 600 hours on them for sale.

I too, John, was curious. But not knowing (or caring/not a fan of) much about Soltron, I thought 'pineapple' and 'apple' were marketing names for the equipment. Though, I assumed Ergo has better sense.

SunDazzler for sure. I've had a Sundazzler in my salon for 10 years very powerful and never once had a repair!
