Getting our new Beauty Lounge next week..pricing ideas?

Okay,

so we are getting our Brand new Ergoline Red Light Therapy Beauty Lounge with vibrating floor plates next week.
Wanted to see if anyone has one of these red light therapy beds in their salon and if so, how are you pricing it?

Because it is a 8-12 week program that will give you the best results, we are not going to offer it by the single session. I was thinking 1month, 2 month and 3 month packages on this one.
Thanks for any input!

I decided to sell single sessions and I'm glad that I did. :)

But are people doing the recommended 3 sessions a week for 3 months that way?

I'd love to talk to someone about the ergoline beauty machine - i'm not in the U.S and nobody in my country has one and am planning on being the first - is anyone who has one of these able to give me their email address so I can ask them a few questions about it?

That is much too low for this service. I know salons that are getting $300 for 3 months on existing equipment with new Rejuvenessence lamps. This service should be priced higher than anything else you sell in your salon.

Do you really think that this is worth more money than HP for example?
We charge $139/mo for HP, but we sell it as an EFT service for $85.99.
I dont think we can get that much for the Beauty Lounge.

Re: Getting our new Beauty Lounge next week..pricing ideas?

$99-120 for the 3 month would be less than most salons would charge for 3 months on the lowest level bed in their salon.

1. Did you pay less than the cost of a base bed to bring it in?

2. Do you believe the combination of the red lamp technology AND the vibrating plates has less value to customers than a base bed tan?

This is a designed to be a premium piece of equipment. You are more likely pitching it to NON-tanners than tanners (since it is challenging to sell both tanning and skin rejuvenation at the same time to the same client). You are selling the "fountain of youth" -- face firming, wrinkle reducing, AND cellulite busting.

Why would you price it cheaper than anything else in your salon??

I would think this would be a MINIMUM of a $150/mo or $299/3 month package - perhaps more like . Maybe a year round EFT for $79-99/mo if they were willing to commit to 6+ months.

Intro package $199 for 20 visits that expire in 60 days if you want to get your client hooked.

Totally different animals - and somewhat different clientele.

I'd offer an "add on" to your current membership clients -- probably graduated depending what level they are on now. So if your HP EFT pay $86/mo for HP alone - assuming you have the EFT on the beauty lounge alone at $99 - let the HP customers add it for only $39 more.

For your base bed clients - assuming they pay $20/mo to tan - let them add it for $85/mo additional
