what tanning beds to buy? - tanTALK

The salon i most recently purchased has old, cheap beds so I want to upgrade them. the electric there cant support very good beds but it will cost a ton to upgrade the electric so I'm opting to just buy beds that will work with the electric I have. So what I have is 208 volts and 4 30amp rooms and 7 20 amps rooms I need to fill. All beds, I already have the booths. So just looking on some advice on what you guys think are some good quality beds that I may want to look into. At my other salons we use ultrasun's but we can not use those at this one.

Hi Tamara. Where in NY are you? The 20amp rooms are going to be tough! What size is you service? 200amps? Single or 3 phase? It may be better to buy a couple less beds and spend some money to rewire a few rooms. We are located in CT and just took in some beds on trade. Give us a call anytime.

tan america and prosun have good lower amp units .
I delt with Heather at Tan America, and susan Burns at pro sun, both very helpful
and went above and beyond .

You can get a KBL 4500, they only need a 30 amp breaker and they pull 23 amps running. They look great and tan like a big VHR bed.

Rob..what do have. So far I figured I can use the Santa Barabara, 3400 ovation, ETS envy. I'm still looking for 4 beds total..must have facials. Pref. 2 that I can use as a step up...those kbl 4500 look great! Thanks kookyguy!
