Sportarredo Extasy~new addition~control panel won't work. - tanTALK

we just added a sportarredo extasy and were having problems.
3-phase connection and powered up. radio and display lights work, but that's it.
i can get into the circuit board and manually power up the whole bed, but for some reason i can't get the personal control panel (pcp) to work. it's as if it's not getting any power
the pcp has a card slot. i am wondering if its possible that the bed has to have this card to work.
we bought the bed used and with no card

I'm looking for people who have experience with the extsay and can offer some knowledgeable advise.

There are small fuses on the board, make sure they are good.

You can get new ones at radio shack.

I have exact same problem as West Coast Tann, only with the pcp on my Velocity 918 HP (2005). Any suggestions for me??

Did you connect a T-Max? There is a plug on the back of the pod for a T-Max. Two outside pins go to contact.

Yes, the Velocity has been connected to a Tmax all along. I did replace the timer but it made no difference. Bed is receiving power, speakers work but bed will not turn on.

This was for the original poster about the t max. ^^^For you it is probably a bad board.

I am in St. Louis, MO and I need someone that can work on and extasy bed. The lid will not come down when we use the down switch. Also the machine now shows a wrench.
I need a tech that can come to STL and fix this bed.

^^^Good luck with getting a Sporterrado maintence person to come to your salon. With their equipment, you have to learn how to do the repairs yourself. The "wrench" showing means you need maintence. If you have a manual for your bed, it tells you how to eliminate the "wrench" sign. You need to call Tech support, and they will walk you through some things to check to narrow down what your problem might be. I've been there and done this many times, with their mickey mouse equipment.
