Has Anyone Tried The NEw ETS Beds???

Has anyone tried the new ETS E series line? I was unable to make it to the show this year due to the birth of our daughter, and I really like the looks of the new ETS Legend Bed. It has electronic ballasts, contoured frosted acrylic, pretty nice curb appeal with the led lighting. Has anyone tanned in one or ordered one yet, I am thinking of driving to Indiana to try one out and make a deal???

Buddy of mine tanned in it at the Nashville show, I think it was the 548 type. The price was very competitive & he said he got good color from the unit.

I'd give it some time, first year models with Electronic ballast may have a few bugs that need to be worked out. Unless you are really handy & can fix anything.

The initials are ETS. Does that tell you anything?

That they will break soon? Or do they come broken new these days so you can get the tech used to working on them?

Re: Has Anyone Tried The NEw ETS Beds???

I bought the the ETS Legend in February the 448. It's a 12 minute bed.

My customers love the bed. The visual bells and whistles on the bed makes the customer want to try it. The colored lights scream look at me and once in the bed they love it. The ergonomic acyrlics make it more comfortable and the color from the bed is great.

There were some minor glitches in the beginnning but the ETS team got right on it and the bed runs fine. The service they have given me is great. Everyone has been helpful.

Some people on the forums have bad things to say about ETS but my experience from day 1 has been positive. It's a great bed and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat if I had the funds.

I run a Sunday only special of $7 in this bed ( no I'm not crazy just needed to generate Sunday business instead of closing on Sundays)) and the people I run through on just on Sunday in a month pays the lease on the bed. Every Sunday there is over an hour wait, just for this bed.

We love it.

Re: Has Anyone Tried The NEw ETS Beds???

I've not tanned on one yet, but I tend to agree with Stellita and John from URI - I have every reason to think they'll be good.

Their "big beds" over the past few years have been strong. I think they are continuing to beef up the quality of all their units and the "old ETS" from years back is just that --- "Old ETS".

I'd see no reason NOT to give them a try. My only complaint/suggestion --- I believe they STILL don't make a 15 min Level 1 bed. If that is true - big mistake in my opinion. I would NEVER have a 20 min bed in a salon in today's market. Period. Time is money.
