Going with KBL beds - input anyone?

After looking at all of the options - I have decided to go with the KBL beds. I am going to start with 3 MegaSun 3500, 2 MegaSun 4500, 1 Pure Energy Tower, and the KBL 6800 Alpha - plus the Versa Spa for spray. I will also be adding a SpaJet.

I would love to hear some feedback on my plan - good/bad/ugly - whatever - please let me know what you think about it.

Thanks!
Kayci

I've only heard good things about KBL and they are sharp looking!

The big stuff is well worth the money, the small stuff is not real user friendly when it comes to pulling out acrylics and maintenance.

Also watch for odd size lamps in those entry level units. Make sure they are all F71 Bipin. I've seen some come in odd sizes & you will be stuck with those lamps. High end beds are great, some of the best built.

We have all of those beds in our salon. The 3500s have a higher dome canopy on the top and it's a lil harder to clean the top acrylics vs other 32 lamp beds.

Cleaning aside, they look amazing and tan great!

All of the KBL units are as good as it gets, your customers will love them!

On a side note, I would not bother with the spajet. save the money and put it towards a good HP unit.

Hey - thanks for the reply -

I was wondering - where are you located? As in, what state?

Also, just out of curiosity - regarding the Spa Jet - I have heard others say to skip it - I was wondering why on that. Not for any other reason than I just want to be fully informed, you know what I mean?

I was thinking I would incorporate it into my marketing tactics - regarding doing the spa jet to boost your tan. Of course, there are other great features too.

Please let me know details on what you think - and also - you referred to another HP bed - which one would you be talking about?

Thank you!

Re: Going with KBL beds - input anyone?

The Spa Jet, Hydration Station, massage beds, etc.... are just gimmicks and some, not all but just some will try it once or twice and then it will sit idle taking up valuable real estate for what your primary business is, tanning.

You will put this in, it will not get used, you will not make your money back on ita. you will sell it for pennies on the dollar, and then you will kick yourself when you finally install HP and see all of the money you left on the table thinking you were going to go for the "spa atmosphere" instead of sticking with strictly tanning. It will just be a big waste of money.

Wow! I appreciate your directness - that is exactly what I'm looking for. What do you offer to draw people into the salon in the "off season?"

Thanks!
