Hate T-Max (venting...)

Ha! I hate these things. Someone is nice enough to ship me one. A week later I have a replacement for one that I, admittedly, fried. Well the one I get sent is for 12 volt AC? WTF? Who makes this crap!

Ordering a new one from my dist and over-nighting it right now. This antique tech really annoys me to no end. Its like buing a computer but they come without a power supply. "Oh, those are external and cost additional".

Re: Hate T-Max (venting...)

you MIGHT be installing it in your bathroom and wouldn't need that timer.

Re: Hate T-Max (venting...)

They all run on 9-12 volts AC or DC. Has onboard rectifier and regulator so it is not polarity sensitlve.

Really? Well that would be nice. This is a 1A (board says 1995), I had a 3A - same in the end? That is this one has a rectifier?

Well whats the worst that could happen, it would not work.
