EQUIPMENT FORSALE SUGGESTION

I am new here and interested in buying beds, equipment, accessories etc and it would be really helpful instead of posting my email and asking for pics to be sent... if the sellers could add attachments to the FOR SALE post which would allow people like me to see if there is or isnt interest before moving forward and receiving 20 emails full of photos of equipment and other items that I may have no interest in....make sense>?

Re: EQUIPMENT FORSALE SUGGESTION

You're speaking to the choir. We've been asking that all for sale posts include pictures, price, hours, condition etc. but the used bed guys have prevented it from happening.

Re: EQUIPMENT FORSALE SUGGESTION

Pffff, You're lucky some people can post let alone have the ability to post a picture. It seems to be over a lot of users heads on how to do it.

Re: EQUIPMENT FORSALE SUGGESTION

glad im not the only one....im glad it does make sense....posting pics to your post is all about uploading from your store harddisk file through the "browse" link....

before posting select the "advanced" tab and scroll down to "additional options" and select the "attach files" tab and that will bring you to the window you can select your saved photos of whatever you are selling and upload to your post.

I did a sample picture post but I AM NOT FORSALE SORRY.

Re: EQUIPMENT FORSALE SUGGESTION

The problem is, most images have to be resized to be uploaded. There are upload restrictions on size. It's as simple as opening the photo is paintbrush and using the stretch/skew option to resize, but I agree that is over most people's heads.

It would be bad *** if vbulletin had a built in resizer that compressed the image or resized it to the specified requirements.

Re: EQUIPMENT FORSALE SUGGESTION

^^^There you have it. It's already built in to TanTalk. You can upload larger files and it automatically resizes it to 90kb.

Talking Re: EQUIPMENT FORSALE SUGGESTION

I'm new to TanTalk but already have gotten quite an ear full in just a couple hours off and on here. I have learned a lot in a short amount of time. And yes this site is not as user friendly as many but I am glad it is available....
