Question ETS or Ergoline

I am looking to buy one bed for commercial use and find it very confusing which bed to buy. I have looked at ergoline but hear (from sales rep) that the parts are harder to get because it is german made. THat the ETS 542 would be a good bed but others in my area have ergoline ambition 250 and customers love them. Not sure if a ETS will give as good of a tan or if I am even compairing "apples to apples".

I would really appreciate the input. The other thing that I am still trying to decide is if I could buy new or used. So...should I try getting an used ergoline or a new ets? OR...is there a better bed that I could find, maybe Tan America....Thoughts? Thanks

I think if you're only looking to buy one bed, it really isn't going to make much difference what kind you buy. Ergo is much better than ETS and Tan America makes a good product. I'd buy used.

Re: ETS or Ergoline

I would take a dead pack mule over an ETS bed any day. Sorry, but they just dont pan up to what you can get elsewhere at similar price points.

Talking Re: ETS or Ergoline

LOL!! :) OK...no ets then which Ergoline or TA bed is best against the Ambition 250 or 200? I don't want a bed that is useless in 3 years so if I do buy used it needs to be atleast worth the $ in the long run. With one bed it will take me a while to pay for iteself through tans. But it will hopefully increase traffic on the retail end.

Sorry not in the market for mules...at least I hope not!

And where in the world do I find "elsewhere"

Re: ETS or Ergoline

I would maybe look at The Ergoline Advantage 350.Packs a bigger punch than the Ambition 200 or 250. We have the 350` s and they are great!

Re: ETS or Ergoline

I have both in my salon( we bought it with ETS beds). We put in a Ergoline 450 in March and I cant keep customers out of it! Well worth the price if you ask me. My husband on the other hand swears by the SunStar 32's that we have. I dont like them, they run really hot and the fans arent the best. I plan on replacing them over the next couple of years.

Re: ETS or Ergoline

We have ergoline 200s, 300s, 500s, 650s, and 1050s.

If you're looking for a low level bed, I would def go with the 300 over the 200.

Re: ETS or Ergoline

If I went with a 200 Ambition by Ergoline, what you a person expect to pay? The one that has been offered to me has less than 1000 & new bulbs. THank you!

If you can get a Ambition 200 for less then $1000, I'd jump on it. Are you sure it wasn't dropped off a truck? That's a great deal. Or did you mean it has less than a 1000 hours? $4000 tops, but $3500 would be a good deal.
