Rep Power: 0 | Tanses beds Two Tanses T32f8 tanning beds came with the fitness equipment I ordered. They both have less than 150 hours on them and were manufactured in 2005. Everything works fine except one major problem: I don't think they're actually tanning anyone. We set them up last weekend, and tested them out. The max time for each bed is 12 minutes. 4 people tanned, and not one of them got burnt. I even went 13 minutes, and didn't get burnt at all even though I haven't tanned since October. Are they really weak beds? They start fine, bulbs turn on, no missing/not working bulbs, etc. Is there possibly something I'm missing or are these beds really that bad? I know they're level one beds (32 lamps, 100 watts each plus a facial tanner), but I always get a burn when I tan in beds. If anyone has any experience with Tanses or could help me out, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Tanses beds Thanks. I'll check the voltage. I believe the electrician said it was 225 volts. According to the manufacturers manual, the bulbs we have in the bed have a maximum tan time of 12 minutes. I believe they are voltarec (excuse my spelling). I coudln't believe it was only a 12 minute bed either when I purchased it. But after speaking with Tanses, they confirmed it. |

Rep Power: 20 | Re: Tanses beds Ageless - We actually have Tanses Beds in our Salon and they are awsome if they are set up correctly - Tan for Tan not too many beds out there better than the T38 - Not much eye candy compared to other beds but it is a work horse if you have everything running properly - We have the T32, T38 & the T52. Our Beds came straight from the factory in Canada and the T32 is actually set up for 15 minute maxs - You do need a transformer or buckbooster. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Tanses beds Ageless ,Tan Can is absolutly on the money< they are workhorses to be sure, we use them as 20 minute sessions and our customers love them, also the Voltarc lamps are great too. Are they 5.0 , 6.5, 7.5 or 8.5 lamps ? 5.0 are beginner lamps and the Voltarc lamps you get a lot of hours out of them...Try upping your session time, goodluck. |
