Rep Power: 0 | Can anyone help me pick out beds for a fitness center? Hi everyone, I hope someone will be kind enough to help me. I am in the process of opening a fitness center and I am having a hard time choosing the best beds. This first center will only have 4 beds so I need to get 1 or 2 entry level beds and 2 high pressure beds preferrably one 8 minute. I want my large beds to have the WOW factor. We would be the nicest tanning salon in the area. This is a start of a chain and any advise would be great. I have been looking at the following, ProSun Ultra Sun Dr. Kern I am not a big fan on ETS but if you guys have any other companies that are good let me know. Any input will help me greatly Icon Fitness Mind, Body & Goal! |

They are Great Wide Body machines which will help with the "WOW" factor. I have heard some good things about UWE also u might wanna put that on your list of beds to look at. if u decide to go with Ultrasun there is only one vendor u should go through. His name is Jim Peak from Tanning supplies unlimited, (877) 307-8434 and he is Very Very knowledgeable about his beds and will take great care of u. =D Last edited by Tullio; 07-27-2008 at 03:46 PM. If you mean a bed with high pressure facials the Ultrasun would be my choice. A new HP bed will run $35k-$50k each.

Rep Power: 18 | Re: Can anyone help me pick out beds for a fitness center? It's true there's a lot "up in the air" regarding Mueller and what AUVL/Future Industries plans are. That doesn't change the fact that the ICON is one of the best VHR's on the market. For that matter all the Mueller equipment kicks butt. |

I agree with Wrecked about the Dr. Mueller beds. Until we find out the outcome, I would stay away from them. They make a great bed but the future is too uncertain. KBL and the new Heartland beds would also be a good choice.

Sportawattadingdong is good too and you'll probably get the best deal on beds as someone on here is having a fire sale. The Dr Muller Icon is the best bed built and I dunno about them going under anytime soon but what do I know. Soltron/Ergoline if you want big beautiful paper weights. |
