Solar Storm beds?

He guys...new here, obviously. I'm thinking about opening a new shop. There are so many beds out there to choose from...it's so confusing! Can anyone give me some input on "Solar Storm" beds. Or possibly what beds are good beds to start a new shop with. Thanks Guys and Gals!

Solar Storm? Never heard of them.

Where are you buying them from?

More residential than commercial. If you are serious about opening a tanning salon you really need to do a lot of research on equipment. Look at AUVL/Muller, KBL, Ergoline.

Re: Solar Storm beds?

After hours of research here is what I have it narrowed down to.

Ergoline
ETS
Tan America
UWE
Prosun

I plan on opening a 7-8 bed Salon with levels 1-3. Which of these companies have the best beds at the most resonable prices in your opinion? Also which of these companies are good to work with when opening a new salon. Any input is greatly appreciated! I will start calling sales reps on Monday.

Re: Solar Storm beds?

STRICTLY FROM PERSONAL, NOT PROFESSION EXPERIENCE:

The Salon I'm buying has the ETS. 4 lower level, 2 higher with facials. 2000-2003 models. There are 2 beds in particular that tan like crazy and I'm going to try new bulbs in the lower performing ones WHICH ARE THE SAME MODEL to see if I can get the same results.

I tested the Ergoline in 2 different salons. One was a few years old but the other was brand new. Even in the Brand New Level 2 I barely tanned. 2 different beds in the older salon - level 1 and 3.

Again, these are personal experiences only. I would strongly suggest you do what I'm doing and "tan your way across the USA (or North GA in my case) and see what's there and what you like. Also ask them which one is THEIR favorite bed and which ones the customers like.

BTW, I have heard great reviews here from TA but haven't found a salon that uses them yet.

Everyone around here uses ets or ergoline...I'm looking to be different.

Re: Solar Storm beds?

Although I am interested in ETS....so far they seem to fit my budget better. I do like their beds.

Hi Shannon,
Yes that is my dog. They are great but strange! He is 3.5 years old.

I would go with UWE and KBL if you have the budget. They are the best European beds are the market.
