Level 1 ... need opinions..

Ok guys.. haven't been on here for quite some time. But... I was wondering if any of you could chime in on this.

Would you consider replacing a 10 year old Sonnenbraune Klassic 732/3 with an Ergo Classic 200 or 300. And do you think customers would consider this an upgrade or downgrade in quality/confort/results.. etc if the pricing were the same. Assume that the Classic 200 or 300 were fitted with 100watt NON-reflectors.

If you said it was a downgrade, what other level one triple face units would you suggest at the same level... preferrably used???

Thanks.

Re: Level 1 ... need opinions..

Jeff -

There is no Ergo "classic 200" - do you mean the Ambition 200 with 32 lamps and no facials?

Also - do you mean the older Ergoline Classic 300 (38 lamps 100W, facials - 20 min) or the Ambition 300 - 40 lamps, 160W in canopy, facials?

An Ambition 300 would be an upgrade - that is more of a Level 2 bed. An Ambition 200 would be a downgrade - no facials. An Ergoline Classic 300 would probably be an upgrade (more lamps, bigger body surface, more "presence" in the room) but that particular model has had significant structural issues over the years and isn't one I would look to add given other options (especially since it is also a 20 min tan and I prefer 15).

In general, unless your 732/3's are no longer functional, I wouldn't invest money in Level 1 beds to replace those. They tan well and are reliable. Put your money into a new upgrade unit instead - much better ROI.

Hi Jeff,
Or do you mean the Ambition 250 with 32 lamps and 3 facials? How many are you looking for? I know someone that has a couple of those as well as two Muller 35/3 with low hours.
