Rep Power: 0 | Need help with choosing the right bulbs I have a Sunbrozer tanning bed. Right now, I have F71T12/BL/BP/65 Midday sun bulbs. I am ready to purchase new bulbs. I have heard I cant buy just any bulb because of the wattage. That it would burn up my ballast. I want a strong bulb but dont want to damage my bed. Can any one with a little bit more knowledge help me choose a good bulb? Thanks for your help. |

I am very limited on time and want to get in and out. Any suggestions on the strongest, best color in a 100 watt bulb? and where to get them from? Thanks for all of your help. Nicole |

They won't blow up your ballast or your bed. How's that??? Kris (978) 249 6474 |

It has a higher UVB output. It would be great for more immediate color, but does cause more reddening, so if you're operating a 15 minute bed, it might be too hott. You'll find people that normally go in for 15 minutes are only going in for 10-12 minutes because of the intense UVB output. You could also try the cosmedico 100 V VLR 9k90 lamp ($16/lamp). The benefit is that it is a four phosphur blend so the lamp life is up to 1,000 hours instead of 600. However, for an entry level bed, do you want to offer a lamp with such a high UVA output (more bronzing power). Better off saving that for your higher levels. All this is based on a 15 minute bed. |
