Rep Power: 0 | Question on LSI / Private label lamp supplier needed? We are looking for a new supplier and have request a quote for the following products: The problem I keep getting is that some of the lamp guys offer LSI lamps under a private lable and I am not sure if it is the same lamp just rebranded or if its just a different lamp made by LSI. As there can be up to a $4 price difference between an actual LSI brand or a supposed rebrand like RAVE or AUVL I would like to seperate fact from fiction on what is truely the identical lamp. In any event, this is my usual order of lamps, but if you guys know of the names of the same lamps (identical not similar) done under private label it would really help expand my search for a new supplier. 56 Midday Sun F71T12 BL/BP 100w non reflective (no substitute unless just renamed) 84 Desert Sun F71T12 BL/BP 100w non reflective (no substitute unless just renamed) 28 Equator sun F71T12 BL/BP 100w non reflective (no substitute unless just renamed) 27 Beach sun F71T12 BL/VHO 160w reflective (no substitute unless just renamed) 27 Signature plus F71T12 VHO 160w reflective (no substitute unless just renamed) 4 compatible 400w facial E400 HPT 21 compatible lamps to heraues classic slim 25LR 80006135 or Cosmo 10028 25LR (reflective) Advice and knowledge is appreciated. |

There is no difference.A Rave(heartland)or Summer Sun(national tanning) are both good LSI lamps.I have used the rave and summer sun and they both perform identically to the midday and beach sun. The cheapest prices I've found on the PL's are about 20-30 cents cheaper than LSI lamps. | |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Question on LSI / Private label lamp supplier needed? Those lamps are all available in PL's. Make sure whoever you deal with knows their stuff. LSI makes many many different lamps and unless they know their phosphor's, gas mix and reflector angles you may not get the right lamps. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Question on LSI / Private label lamp supplier needed? thanks guys... I was afraid of this... maybe I am a skeptic, but just because a lamp specs out the same, or is made in the same factory, does not mean it has the same phosphorous (might of spelt that wrong) or chemical composition, coors can make coors lite, labatts, black label... etc all in the same factory or production line... does not mean they are the same quality or ingredients. Now a big company may be able to say, I want the desert sun lamp... but put our label on it and we will take xxx's of them. If this is the case, great, but if its not, then cheaper price may be just cheaper chemical composition, which is what I wish to avoid. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Question on LSI / Private label lamp supplier needed? LSI does make different quality lamps. They probably also make over 100 different "types" but having said that many types are available under different names. You just have to make sure you are getting what you ask for. |
