Rep Power: 0 ![]() | ![]() Here's the deal - since opening, I have been asked over and over again why I don't have a sunless alternative. MY personal experience with sunless booths is that I feel as though I'm in a gas chamber where I cannot breathe and upon exit am gagging and sputtering. Also, I am very naturally WHITE so all sunless tanning does to me is leave nice orange splotches and streaks. Not wanting to have anyone walking out of my new shop feeling like a freak, I did not include sunless in our services. NOW, I'm wondering if I should become trained and certified to do sunless airbrushing. Just because I don't like it, doesn't mean others shouldn't have the option - and that I should lose money from the lack of offering it. SO, I'm looking at the airbrush equipment now. Norvell, AG, Cal Tan? What do ya'll think? Thanks, Elise. |

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Re: Best Sunless Equipment That's right, I bash UV tanning... I'm opening my second UV tanning spa in a couple months. I UV tan 3-4 times per week. My first spa has only been open since July 16th and I'm doing incredible UV business. From my own personal experience, tanning booths suck. The color is not customizable. I buy every piece of equipment out-right; it would take 5 years in this area to pay myself back if I bought a booth. Maybe you shouldn't assume. |
