aqua mist on tanning beds - tanTALK

is the aqua mist a good feature to have on a bed or not. i am about to purchase to ergoline affinity 800 which has aquamist and aroma therapy in it. just wanted to know if anybody has any information on these type of units.

customers love it...gives them something to talk about. Over 50% of my units have this feature and they are now the more popular beds in the salons.

how is the upkeep on them are they hard to maintain.

in the earlier days there were a few hiccups but by now all new machines are pretty much problem free. I had BIG problems with my KBL equipment - had to do a full system upgrade on every unit I had - took me AGES. The earlier Ergolines had a few probs but now all machines coming off the factory work 100% in my experience.

The only thing you have to do is replace the aqua and aroma containers every 2-3 months depending on how busy your units are.

Give it a go!

We have a mist option (and aroma) on the Magic 636 by Sun Italia - and it is awesome to be able to spray during your tan - it feels great.

Have you already purchased the Ergoline? We almost went that route, as our entire salon is ergoline, but the bed technicians that we know said they are not the same quality as they were 3 years ago (when we bought ours). So we started looking at other HP beds really closely (Tan America's Matrix, the Sun Italia Magic, etc ... and we are very happy. Not to say Ergoline definitely isn't what it used to be ... but we did hear that from a couple of people, so we looked at other lines of beds.

Didn't they get rid of the aroma and mist on the 800 recently?
I have tanned in the bed and enjoyed both features. But they were a nightmare with regard to maintenance.
