1999 Big Bear.........How are they?

Can I get some feedback on a 1999 Big Bear. I am looking into purchasing one for another salon. What can i expect to spend. Who manufactures it. How are they. i.e. how many lamps, facial tanners, watts, performance, support etc. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

RUN!!!! RUN!!!!! Talk about bad design. It's a short VHR with a million facials that do nothing.

Re: 1999 Big Bear.........How are they?

I have a 2000 big bear, all my customers love it....however they no longer make the big bear and mine went down last May and it was 5 months before anyone could find the parts to fix it. I believe UWE makes it, it has 400W facials & 160 W on canopy and 140 W on bottom. It is probably my most comfortable bed because of the AC. I do love it, but I am not sure that I want to go through the hassle of finding the parts and risk having my bed down for 5 months again. The next time something breaks I'll probably just replace the whole bed. JMO!

the 140 is on top as they are 59inch lamps. (shorties). Never been a fan of the shortie VHR as you already lose about 4inches of tanning coverage on the ends due to the long length cathode they use. This makes it even smaller coverage.
